Description: 1973 Norton Commando 850 roadster. Matching serial numbers. Starts first kick and no leaks. Low milage and original as they come. Sunday driven in good weather only, 5,939 miles.
Frame up restoration using only original parts over the past 1,000 miles. 7 coats midnight black and 3 coats clear. Any parts that were not perfect, were replaced.
A sample of the restoration; Complete Lucas electrical system Engine (top and bottom) and transmission rebuilt with parts as required. All rubber including isolastic mounts Non-leak fork seals, shocks, exhaust, collars etc etc. Avon Roadrunner tires. Control cables. Seat and grab assembly
The only new non-original Norton parts: Electronic ignition - Boyer. Stainless oil lines with non return valve. Just replaced the front brake master cylinder with a high performance 13mm master cylinder that increases brake pressure by 33%.
