Helping keep British Motorcycles on the road for over 30 years - established 1977

1971 Norton Commando

Sold 11/03/2016

Registered as a 750, has 850 big bore and racing cam installed.
Competition upper motor mount and new issolastic mounts.
Single Mikuni Carb, nice smooth response throughout rev range
Self-advancing electronic ignition, starts easily, even with kicker where it is.
No I didn’t add in the goofy spark lights, they were there when I got it but they don’t seem to affect performance
Twin oil coolers
I believe the tank is from Norton Race Parts in Brittan, but could be mistaken. I was told it is a British tank, not an Indian made one.
Norton solo seat, could be cut down if you are under 6’ tall.
Clubman bars and bar end mirrors
Norton Lockheed front brake with Ducati Master cylinder, stops amazing!
Hyde rear sets with Colorado Norton works mounts
NJB aluminum rear shocks,
19/18 rim combo, lipped rims
Lots more. A Norton person will see more I’m sure.

I didn’t build the bike, but I do know it has less than 750miles since the build. I have the builder’s contact for the buyer as well. Top notch bike, lots of fun, just not me.

Open to offers and maybe a partial trade.
