1966 BSA A65

This '66 arrived in very nice shape. Many new parts, front fender, seat (not correct), alternator, carb completely done but pumping oil in the left cylinder. Valve guides were shot but it had 140 lb. compression cold. No big deal, valve job and I'm on my way. New plugs and the thing ran perfectly..... but then I could hear the rod knock.

I think it got all that work done but had sat for many years and the crank was full of sludge. So, crank regrind, many new bearings, head rebuilt, rust ridge in cylinder after hone so I bored .020 and bought new pistons.
