Costa's Custom Norton

I thought this might tickle your fancy. I just picked her up today. 69 Rocket3 engine, in what I believe is a Norton P11A frame.

The bike belonged to Ron V, of Montreal. I know that he first raced it somewhere around 1975, in Belleville, ON. A mutual friend writes: “Ron completed the race, but the bike was too much to control, as the track was a 1/4 mile, and the Rocket 3 was built for a mile track. The Rocket 3 made a huge howling sound and rooster tail spray on every corner and on the straights.”

I can imagine that it might have been quite a handful!
