FOR SALE – c. 1926-30 BRADSHAW MOTORCYCLE ENGINE NO. B6500 – 350 c.c. (oil cooled)
BUILT BY DORMAN & CO, STAFFORD, UK.
Engine bought in 1972 from Pratt’s Vintage Motorcycle Company, then in Greenwich, London.
Engine mostly complete (95%)
Between circa 1920 early 1930’s the following bikes used this engine – Fafnir, P&M, Montgomery, CEDOS, Sparkbrook, OK, DFR (German), Matador, DOT and Zenith.
Includes:
Single cylinder magneto (not original but possibly useable – needs refurb)
Two period Bowden Carburators (one clip attachment and one flange adjustment)
Engine fitted with new piston and rings
Some surface rust.
Good fasteners.
Good undamaged castings (see photos)
