Welded steel.
This stand pivot lug is designed to use the 83-1560 stand as used on 1968
on Triumph twins, all Triumph/BSA triples, and on 1971 and later BSA twins,
which can be supplied by BCS along with the correct bolt, nut, and spring if
required.
While one inch is the nominal size for this weld on clamp, it can be comfortably
adapted to 7/8" through 1-1/4” tubes, since as you can see from the illustration
it is rather “universal” in construction and can be fit satisfactorily to your
frame by a good welder with a bit of care.
To be welded to the frame tube to replace broken or damaged stock lug. Use with bolt 82-7021, nut 14-0703, spring 82-8382, sidestand 83-1560.
