1966 Honda SuperHawk
Hello From Baltimore, Maryland!
I have purchased a horn from you in the past
three months (so I suppose that qualifies as being a customer!) and thought I'd
add a Japanese contingent to your roster of British bikes. Let's just say it's
Japan meets the Ace Cafe London. The bike is a 1966 Honda SuperHawk (305cc) that
is mechanically fairly stock (except for electronic ignition and Dunstall
Decibel pipes). Other features include a Triumph Thruxton inspired paint job
(hand-painted checkered stripe down the tank and fenders), custom side panel
decals in the mode of a BSA Spitfire, a pedestrian slicer from a pre-unit
Triumph, fork gaiters, Hagon rear shocks, new alloy and stainless wheels, and
the piece de resistance, ultra rare Bill Selby Enterprises cooling rings from
the 1960's on the front wheel. The engine has just been painted, powder-coated
and polished, and the only thing left to do (for now) is the replacement of the
brake and clutch levers. I hope that this submission is in the proper spirit of
the type of motorbikes you are interested in, and I look forward to possibly be
included in your gallery of customers' bikes.
Thanks Very Much....
